Govee has introduced its Smart Air Purifier 2 in multiple European markets, expanding the availability of its upgraded air purification system following its U.S. launch. The latest model builds on the original GoveeLife Smart Air Purifier with new features aimed at improving air quality management through intelligent automation and connected controls.
The key addition in the Smart Air Purifier 2 is an integrated PM2.5 sensor, which monitors airborne particulate matter such as fine dust and combustion emissions. This sensor enables Auto Mode, which adjusts the purifier’s fan speed in real time based on detected air quality levels. Other modes include Turbo for rapid purification and Sleep Mode, which reduces noise output to below 24 dB for nighttime operation.
Designed to purify spaces up to 97 square meters (1,046 square feet), the unit includes an H13-grade HEPA filter, capable of filtering 99.97% of particles between 0.1 and 0.3 microns, and has a CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) of up to 135 cfm. The device also features built-in RGB lighting, which can be used both for mood ambiance and as an air quality indicator.
As with other Govee smart home devices, the Smart Air Purifier 2 connects to the Govee Home app, allowing users to remotely monitor air quality, adjust settings, and customize lighting. The purifier also supports Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, offering voice control functionality.
The GoveeLife Smart Air Purifier 2 is now available in Europe at a retail price of £129.99/€159.99. A bundle that includes a replacement HEPA filter is also on sale for £154.98/€186.98, with standalone replacement filters priced at £24.99/€26.99.
