Bluetooth tracker maker Chipolo has announced its first rechargeable devices, introducing two models that will work with both Apple’s Find My app and Google’s Find My Device network.
The new products, named the Chipolo Loop and Chipolo Card, will be available in October but can already be pre-ordered with bundle discounts. Both trackers feature IP67 water and dust resistance, an extended Bluetooth range of up to 400 feet and up to six months of battery life on a single charge.
The round-shaped Loop comes with a flexible silicone band for attaching to personal items, while the Card is a slim, credit card-shaped tracker designed to fit inside wallets, purses, or phone cases. The Loop charges via USB-C, while the Card supports Qi wireless charging.
Chipolo highlighted the versatility of the new devices. “What makes them special is that they are rechargeable, a first for Chipolo,” the company said in its announcement.
Both models include built-in speakers, with the Loop reaching 125 decibels and the Card 110 decibels. Users can also activate a blinking light on the devices for locating them in the dark. Beyond Apple and Google’s platforms, the Chipolo app offers additional features such as custom ringtones and phone-ringing capabilities.
The trackers are priced at $39 in the United States and €45 in Europe, with discounts offered on multi-unit bundles. For example, a pack of four Loops is listed at $124.80, down from $156, while a two-pack of Cards is available at $74, reduced from $80.
