NVIDIA has just announced the presence of their latest GPU, the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti. This is the holy grail for gamers, because this GPU is the fastest GPU that NVIDIA currently has.
However, there is an interesting news coming from a source within the company. NVIDIA is rumored to have contacted their GPU manufacturing partners to temporarily stop production of the GPU.
The reason for the request to stop production of the GPU is reportedly a problem with the components in the GPU. Some of the reported issues are related to the BIOS and some hardware, as quoted from Tom’s Hardware (16/1).
For now, it’s still unknown where the BIOS and hardware issues are referring to by NVIDIA. This is the first time they have stopped production for this reason.
They usually stop production because of cooling or other things. Of course, this is an interesting thing for gamers all over the world. Unfortunately, it is not yet known when this GPU will be back in production.
