Fujitsu said it has expanded its strategic partnership with NVIDIA to co-develop a full-stack AI infrastructure that integrates AI agents, aiming to enhance enterprise competitiveness while maintaining autonomy in AI utilization.
The initiative focuses on creating an AI agent platform customized for industries including healthcare, manufacturing, and robotics. It will combine Fujitsu’s FUJITSU-MONAKA CPU series with NVIDIA’s GPUs through the NVLink Fusion interface, forming a computing foundation designed for next-generation performance and scalability.
Fujitsu said the collaboration will foster the development of AI systems capable of continuous learning and self-improvement. This approach aims to overcome limitations in traditional computing architectures and support the creation of cross-industry AI ecosystems that evolve autonomously over time.
The companies plan to extend their joint work to include high-performance and quantum computing, while also building a partner ecosystem to accelerate the adoption of AI agents and models across various sectors. The initiative will begin in Japan, with global expansion expected as applications mature.
According to Fujitsu CEO Takahito Tokita, the partnership with NVIDIA is intended to accelerate AI-driven transformation in both enterprise and government sectors, leveraging the strengths of both companies. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang said the effort reflects the start of an “AI industrial revolution” requiring robust computing infrastructure to sustain global growth in AI deployment.
