Electronic Arts (EA) has released a comprehensive community update outlining final improvements and gameplay refinements for Battlefield 6, just days before its global launch on October 10.

According to the update posted on EA’s official website, the development team has made “significant progress since the Open Beta,” refining mechanics and addressing player feedback gathered during extensive testing sessions. EA revealed that over 92 million hours were logged during the Open Beta, with more than 500,000 players joining on Steam in a single day.

Developers said they conducted more than 30 Battlefield Labs sessions to collect community input. “Your feedback during the Beta has been crucial in helping us fine-tune the experience for launch,” EA stated in the update. Adjustments include expanded playlist options, streamlined menus, and access to all launch maps across multiple modes from day one.

The company also confirmed a day-one patch featuring over 200 changes, focusing primarily on bug fixes and gameplay balance. EA described the update as “an essential step to ensure stability and smooth performance across platforms.”

Preloading for Battlefield 6 is now available ahead of the official release on consoles and PC, as EA looks to build momentum for one of its biggest launches of the year.
