Epic Games has launched its latest crossover event, bringing The Simpsons into Fortnite with a new Springfield-themed update that transforms the Battle Royale experience into a compact, nostalgia-filled map. The Fortnite x The Simpsons collaboration went live on November 1, 2025, offering players a month-long lineup of events, tournaments, and story-driven content.
The crossover replaces the standard Fortnite map with “Springfield Island,” a condensed version of Homer Simpson’s hometown that features nine points of interest, including the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, Kamp Krusty, Burns Manor, and Evergreen Terrace. Epic described the event as “a nostalgia-packed Springfield Island with nine themed POIs,” each filled with familiar gags and Easter eggs from the long-running animated series.
In addition to the new map, the event includes a themed Battle Pass featuring characters such as Homer, Marge, and Flanders, along with “Blinky Fishstick” and “Springfielder Peely” outfits. New Sidekick companions and customization items—called “Peels”—are set to roll out on November 7. A series of limited-time Victory Cup tournaments will also take place in Springfield, rewarding cash prizes for top players.
Epic is further expanding the crossover with a four-part animated miniseries that will release weekly throughout November. The storyline follows Homer Simpson after he discovers a Zero Point shard, merging realities in chaotic ways. Episode titles include Apocalypse D’oh, Sugar High, Multiplidiocy, and The Incredible Bulk, with new episodes dropping each week until November 24.
Players can also unlock themed rewards through account linking and Twitch drops, including the Kang and Kodos Glider for linking Epic and Disney accounts by November 15, and a “Siiimpsooooons” weapon wrap for watching half-hour Fortnite Twitch streams. The collaboration marks one of Fortnite’s most extensive crossovers to date, signaling a continued shift from cosmetic tie-ins toward narrative-driven, world-changing events.
