Akatsuki Games, together with TOHO and Production I.G, has released a new content update for Kaiju No. 8 The Game, adding Main Story Chapter 5 titled Dimensional Identified Kaiju A. The expansion features fresh narrative missions, new events, and the introduction of a powerful ★5 character, Mina Ashiro [Superb Combination].
The latest chapter continues the ongoing storyline with large-scale battles taking place across London and Japan. Players face new threats from the Dimensional Identified Kaiju A, a colossal creature emerging from the Dimensional Gate. The update deepens the game’s focus on teamwork and strategy as players defend against simultaneous kaiju attacks on multiple fronts.
To celebrate the launch, the developers introduced a limited-time event and login campaign offering up to 1,500 Dimensional Crystals and 10 Gacha Tickets. Players can also take part in new Score Battles tied to the chapter’s release to earn in-game rewards.
The new playable unit, Mina Ashiro [Superb Combination], arrives as an attacker character equipped with the T-Dionysus cannon and supported by her companion Bakko. Her abilities emphasize coordinated combat and additional offensive actions during battle. A companion story, Enveloped in White Warmth, adds a more personal perspective to her character.
