A new leak from well-known dataminer Temporyal indicates that Battlefield 6 may soon receive a slate of new weapons and gadgets, along with the return of an iconic helicopter in the game’s upcoming Season 2 update. The leak, shared on X, outlines several items discovered in the game’s internal files. The original article described the findings as including “several unreleased weapons” and additional equipment expected to expand player loadouts.

According to the data examined, the unreleased weapons identified include the MG5, Bren 2, Scorpion Evo 3 and the Škorpion vz. 61, the latter presumed to serve as a secondary weapon. The files also reference new gadgets such as an airburst grenade launcher, a sticky grenade launcher labelled GL40 STKY, the M320A1 AT designed for anti-vehicle use, and an RGO grenade with a short fuse. The article noted Temporyal’s assessment that the M320A1 AT would likely be assigned to the Assault class.

One of the most notable elements of the leak is the apparent return of the AH-6 Little Bird helicopter to multiplayer. The aircraft is currently limited to single-player and Portal modes, but the leak indicates it may become available to all players in Season 2, with identical versions offered to both factions. The article said the chopper has been “a long-requested feature since the game’s launch.” Speculation points to a possible release date of January 20, 2026, although no official confirmation has been issued.

Across social platforms including X and Reddit, players have reacted positively to the reported additions. The Little Bird’s potential return has prompted significant enthusiasm, while new firearms such as the Scorpion Evo 3 and Bren 2 have also drawn interest. Community discussion suggests the MG5 is receiving particular attention, partly due to comparisons with the existing MG4.

Neither the game’s publisher nor developers have commented publicly on the leak, and the contents remain unconfirmed. The information, however, has added to growing expectations surrounding Battlefield 6’s next major update.
