Google’s upcoming Pixel 10a has surfaced in Verizon’s device database months ahead of its expected launch, showing specifications nearly identical to last year’s Pixel 9a, according to details shared by a well-known leaker.
The Pixel 10a is anticipated to arrive in the first half of 2026, though Google has not formally announced the device. Recent leaks have already hinted that the budget model may closely resemble its predecessor. Renders circulated in October 2025 suggested the phone’s design would remain largely unchanged, while earlier reports indicated it may lack the Tensor G5 chip used in other Pixel 10-series phones.
Information posted by reliable leaker Evan Blass shows the Pixel 10a listed with a 6.3-inch AMOLED display, FHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The certification also outlines a camera system featuring a 48 MP f/1.7 main sensor and a 13 MP f/2.2 ultrawide lens, with a 13 MP f/2.2 selfie camera. The original article noted that the Verizon data shows “these specs are the same as the Pixel 9a.”
Battery capacity is also unchanged at 5,100 mAh, raising questions about whether the listing reflects placeholder information copied from the Pixel 9a, which currently retails for $399 on Amazon.

The certification identifies the device under the code “STA5,” believed to be linked to the Pixel 10a’s internal codename, “stallion.” Analysts note that Google has a history of retaining similar hardware configurations across successive A-series models, making a near-identical refresh plausible.
