Xiaomi is accelerating the rollout of its HyperOS 3 software as 2025 draws to a close, extending the Android 16–based update to more than a dozen additional smartphones and tablets, the company said in an official community post.
The latest expansion follows the release of a stable version to 10 devices earlier this month and reflects Xiaomi’s push to update as many products as possible before the end of the year. In its announcement on Xiaomi Community, the company confirmed that the rollout now covers a range of mid-range and budget models from 2023 and 2024, including several Redmi-branded devices and tablets.

Most of the newly added devices are Chinese variants for now, though Xiaomi said international versions are expected to receive the update in early 2026. At the same time, the company has already begun distributing stable HyperOS 3 builds to some global models, including the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G and the Poco M6 Pro 4G.
HyperOS 3 introduces a broad set of interface and feature changes, ranging from redesigned lockscreen and homescreen elements to smoother animations and new artificial intelligence tools for writing and photo editing. According to the article, the update also includes “an iPhone-style floating HyperIsland that lets users glance at live activities and alerts without pulling the notification shade.”

Xiaomi advised users of eligible devices to watch for over-the-air update notifications in the coming days, adding that devices should be running the latest version of HyperOS 2 with no pending security or feature updates before installation.
