Canyon has launched two new electric mountain bikes in Europe, the Spectral:ON and the Torque:ON, expanding its carbon-framed e-bike range with models aimed at different riding styles.
The Spectral:ON is positioned as a trail-focused e-bike designed for climbing efficiency, cornering control and short, high-intensity rides, while the Torque:ON is aimed at more aggressive use, including large jumps and downhill-oriented terrain. Both models feature an IP57 rating for dust and water resistance.

Despite their different purposes, the two e-bikes share the same electric platform, built around Shimano’s EP801 motor and a new 800 Wh battery housed in an aluminum casing. Canyon says the system delivers up to 600 watts of power and 85 Nm of torque, with a range of up to 85 km on a single charge and support for climbs of up to 1,900 meters.
Suspension and geometry set the models apart, with the Spectral:ON offering a mullet wheel setup and 155 mm of rear suspension travel with 160 mm at the front, while the Torque:ON provides longer travel at 175 mm in the rear and 180 mm up front to suit more demanding terrain.
