A newly leaked render of Google’s upcoming Pixel 10a suggests the company’s next budget smartphone will closely resemble its predecessor, reinforcing expectations of a largely unchanged design.
The image, described as an “official” render and published by Android Headlines, appears to mirror earlier unofficial CAD leaks, showing a device that looks almost identical to last year’s Pixel 9a. The render indicates that the Pixel 10a will retain a similar overall shape and layout, continuing Google’s pattern of limited design updates between generations.

The leaked image also points to relatively thick display bezels, a detail that could draw criticism if the device is priced near the $500 mark. At the same time, the back of the phone appears to keep the nearly flat camera bump seen on the Pixel 9a, a design choice that reduces wobble when the phone is placed on a flat surface. As one report noted, the Pixel 10a “won’t look much different to last year’s model.”
Beyond design, the Pixel 10a is expected to carry over several key specifications from its predecessor, including a 6.3-inch display with a 120-hertz refresh rate and a 5,100 mAh battery, according to recent leaks. These details, however, have not been officially confirmed by Google.

A recent Verizon listing leak has also suggested the Pixel 10a could be powered by Google’s Tensor G4 processor, the same chip used in the company’s previous flagship models. Camera hardware is likewise expected to remain largely unchanged, though all specifications remain subject to change ahead of an official announcement.
