Xiaomi is close to completing the global rollout of its HyperOS 3 software update, with around 95% of eligible devices already updated, according to a tracker published by XiaomiTime. The operating system, based on Android 16, was first introduced in August 2025 and later expanded to a wider range of smartphones and tablets.

The Chinese smartphone maker said in September 2025 that about 70 devices worldwide would be eligible for HyperOS 3. Updates have since been released in phases across regions, covering the majority of Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco-branded models. XiaomiTime’s latest data indicates that only a small group of devices is still waiting for the firmware.

“About 95% of the planned phones and tablets have already received the update, and only a few are left,” XiaomiTime said in its report, citing its internal tracking of the rollout. Devices yet to receive HyperOS 3 include models such as the Xiaomi 13T, several Redmi Note and Redmi 15 variants, the Redmi Pad Pro series and the Poco Pad.

Xiaomi has previously stated that more than 60 global devices would be updated by March 2026, a timeline that remains in place. The remaining models are expected to be part of the final batch, which should complete the planned HyperOS 3 rollout within that timeframe.

At the same time, Xiaomi has begun work on HyperOS 3.1, with a beta version already available for a limited number of devices. The company has indicated that not all products running HyperOS 3 will qualify for the incremental update, underscoring differences in long-term software support across its portfolio.
