Nikon Z Fc Special Edition Black : Everything you should know

Nikon announced the arrival of the Z Fc Special Edition Black and the 40mm F2 SE . The camera and lens come in an all-black body color inspired by the iconic NIKKOR analog cameras and lenses.

Previously, the original Z Fc version came with a variety of contemporary color combinations. Among them are Black Silver, Amber Brown, White, Natural Gray, Sand Beige, Coral Pink and Mint Green. However, in this special edition, the all-black body color is inspired by the legendary FM2 analog camera.

The specifications remain the same as the original version. The sensor used is a 20.9 megapixel APS-C CMOS which is supported by an Expeed 6 . This camera is also supported by a number of advanced technologies. Such as an autofocus system with eye detection, recording up to 4K 30p resolution and a flexible screen that can be rotated.

Meanwhile, the NIKKOR Z 40mm f/2 (SE) is Nikon’s second retro-styled lens. Just like the previous Nikkor Z 28mm F2.8 (SE), this lens adheres to the classic Ai and Ai-S lens designs released in 1977 and 1982. On the NIKKOR Z 40mm f/2 (SE) users can find focus and aperture setting rings. and a silver separator ring.

NIKKOR Z 40mm f/2 (SE) comes with an optical like the standard version. This lens carries six elements in four groups. The design is also weather-resistant and features a stepping motor autofocus (STM) system.

This camera is planned to be available at the end of November 2022 at a of US $ 1199.95. This price includes the Nikkor Z DX 16–50mm F3.5–6.3 VR kit lens. The new NIKKOR Z 40mm f/2 (SE) lens will be available in early 2023 for US$309.95.
