The that was viral, is rumored to be making a virtual reality () version by the collaboration of Schell Games and Meta. In fact, according to reports, it will be released in 2022.

Reporting from Engadget, Saturday (23/4/2022), the VR version of the Among US game will be available for Meta Quest, PlayStation VR, and Steam VR and will be released next fall.

Although the release date is not revealed, but the excitement can already be felt. This can be seen from the gameplay footage of the VR version of Among Us which was shared by Meta on the Meta Ques YouTube channel recently.

Later, the VR version of Among Us will provide an authentic game experience. Because, players will be brought into an increasingly thrilling game with 3D graphics instead of 2D.

The game mode will still be the same as the previous version. Where the main mission is to find the disguiser or The Impostor among other players.

It is not yet known whether this game will be launched simultaneously worldwide or not. But clearly, this game can only be played by fellow VR users.

The VR version of Among Us is not the only game developed by Schell Games and Meta. The two companies have previously worked on other VR versions of the game as well.

Meta has also shown off an early gameplay trailer for the first officially licensed NFL VR game, NFL Pro Era. In addition, the two have now developed three projects that have yet to be announced.
