Apple has officially launched its latest lineup of devices powered by the new M5 chip, including the 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro, the 14-inch MacBook Pro, and the updated Apple Vision Pro. The products are now available for purchase at Apple Store locations, on apple.com, and through the Apple Store app.

The company described the M5 chip as its most advanced silicon yet, delivering significant improvements in performance, graphics, and artificial intelligence processing. “iPad Pro with M5 unlocks the most advanced iPad experience ever, packing an incredible amount of power into an ultraportable design,” Apple said in its announcement.

The new iPad Pro features Apple’s Ultra Retina XDR display using tandem OLED technology and is available in two sizes: 11-inch and 13-inch. The device integrates a next-generation GPU and Neural Accelerator, offering up to 3.5 times faster AI performance compared to the previous generation and up to 5.6 times faster than the M1-powered iPad Pro. The addition of the C1X modem and the new N1 wireless networking chip enhances connectivity and efficiency, while accessories like the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil Pro expand functionality.

Meanwhile, the 14-inch MacBook Pro powered by the M5 chip brings a major boost in AI performance, up to 3.5 times faster than its predecessor, and up to 6 times faster compared with the M1-based 13-inch model. The device includes faster CPU cores, an upgraded Neural Engine, and higher unified memory bandwidth. Apple said the new MacBook Pro’s SSD offers up to twice the read and write speeds of the previous model, which benefits media professionals handling large files. Other features include the Liquid Retina XDR display, macOS Tahoe, a six-speaker sound system, and an array of ports designed for creative workflows.

Apple’s Vision Pro headset also receives the M5 treatment, improving display rendering, AI-powered performance, and extending battery life. The device now ships with a redesigned Dual Knit Band for improved comfort. Running on visionOS 26, the headset offers enhanced spatial computing capabilities and supports a vast library of over a million apps and 3D entertainment content.

“Apple Vision Pro with M5 delivers a leap forward in performance, improved display rendering, and extended battery life,” the company added.

All devices can be customized with configure-to-order options, and customers can choose home delivery or in-store pickup. Apple said it continues to expand its ecosystem around AI capabilities and advanced chip design, reinforcing its long-term strategy of integrating performance and efficiency across its hardware lineup.
