Approaching September, which is known as the birth month of the latest iPhone every year, Apple is increasingly increasing efforts to release the latest iPhone 14 series.
Recently, reports have revealed that this line of Apple smartphones will bring significant changes in terms of design. For the first time, Apple will also use different hardware on the iPhone 14 variants.
Unfortunately, according to a Gizchina report quoted Wednesday (20/4/2022), the regular iPhone 14 model, namely the iPhone 14 (or iPhone 14 mini if any) will use a lower chipset.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will be the more premium and most flagship iPhones.
The latest rumors about the iPhone 14 series now revolve around the screen on the iPhone 14 Pro.
According to Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) CEO Ross Young, there will only be one exclusive screen supplier for the iPhone 14 Pro model, namely Apple’s partner and rival, Samsung.
From a smartphone market perspective, Samsung and Apple are rivals. But in terms of business, the two companies have become partners in recent years.
In this case, Samsung is a major supplier to Apple, especially in terms of display technology. Now, Samsung will be the exclusive supplier for the OLED screen on the iPhone 14 Pro.
Previously, Ross posted a poll on Twitter asking users which model would be exclusive to Samsung’s OLED screen.
