Austrian Audio said it has launched the Arranger, a new open-back, over-ear reference headphone aimed at audio professionals and high-end consumers seeking accurate sound reproduction.
The Vienna-based company said the Arranger is designed to deliver precise transient response, low distortion and a wide soundstage. Austrian Audio, which was founded in 2017 by former AKG Acoustics engineers after the closure of that company, positioned the new model as suitable for both studio monitoring and critical listening.

According to the company, the Arranger uses 44 mm drivers with diamond-like carbon (DLC)-coated diaphragms and offers a frequency response ranging from 5 Hz to 30 kHz. Austrian Audio said the headphones deliver total harmonic distortion of “under 0.1%,” while maintaining an impedance of 25 ohms and a sensitivity of 110 dB SPL per volt, allowing use with lower-powered audio sources.
The open-back headphones are supplied with a three-metre 3.5 mm cable and a 3.5 mm-to-6.3 mm adapter, with optional balanced Pentaconn and 5-pin XLR cables available for professional setups. The design features a metal body and suede-covered earpads, with all major components designed to be fully replaceable.

Austrian Audio said the Arranger has a suggested retail price of $1,099 and is available through authorised distributors, with the company’s wider headphone range also sold via its online storefront on Amazon.
