BRINC has raised $125 million in a funding round led by Motorola Solutions, with participation from Index Ventures, Figma founder Dylan Field, and several technology and defense industry investors.

The Seattle-based company said the financing nearly doubles its valuation from approximately $480 million last year and increases its total funding to more than $280 million.

Funding to Expand Manufacturing and 911 Drone Network

BRINC said the new capital will support expansion of its domestic manufacturing capacity, product development and workforce growth as it scales drone platforms designed for emergency response.

The company develops drones for public safety agencies, including the Lemur 2 indoor tactical drone, the Responder emergency response platform and the Guardian long-range drone.

Chief Executive Officer and founder Blake Resnick said the company aims to improve emergency response by providing first responders with aerial situational awareness before arriving at an incident.

“Every second matters in an emergency. Our 911 response drones put eyes on scene before first responders arrive, giving everyone the situational awareness they need to act decisively and keep people safe.”

    Strategic Backing From Motorola Solutions

Motorola Solutions, which first invested in BRINC in 2025, continues to integrate the company’s drones into its public safety communications and dispatch platforms, allowing agencies to deploy drones directly through emergency response systems.

The latest funding round also included participation from Sam Altman, Alexandr Wang, Shyam Sankar, Jeff Weiner, Patrick Shanahan and Julius Genachowski.

Founded in 2017, BRINC said its products are now used by more than 900 public safety agencies, including over 20% of U.S. SWAT teams. The company plans to open a larger manufacturing facility later this year as it continues expanding production and supporting emergency response agencies across the United States.
