Black Shark will soon launch its gaming smartphone Black Shark 5 series in China, following the smartphone appearing in the database of the Chinese telecommunications certification body, TENAA.

On the site, there are two Black Shark 5 smartphone models, namely the Black Shark 5 with the model number PAR-A0, and the Black Shark 5 Pro with the model number KTUS-A0.

According to TENAA, the Black Shark 5 has dimensions of 163.83 x 76.25 x 10.37mm and weighs 223 grams. The Black Shark 5 carries a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD + resolution that accommodates the fingerprint scanner feature.

Black Shark 5 carries the Snapdragon 8 Series which offers a clock speed of 3.2 GHz, allegedly Snapdragon 8 series, 8 GB or 12 GB RAM, and 128 GB or 256 GB of internal storage.

The Black Shark 5 will also be equipped with a 4,650 mAh battery. Its charging is rumored to support 120 W output.

For photography, the Black Shark 5 will pack three rear cameras, with a 64 MP main camera. While the front camera will have a resolution of 13 MP.

The smartphone will be available in White, Dawn White, Dark Universe Black, and Exploration Grey.

The Black Shark 5 Pro has dimensions of 63.86 x 76.53 x 9.8mm and weighs 226 grams. The Black Shark 5 has a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD + resolution with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Black Shark 5 Pro carries Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, 8GB/12GB/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB internal memory.

Meanwhile, the Black Shark 5 battery may have the same capacity as the regular version, namely 4,650 which is supported by 120 W fast charging.

For photography, the Pro model offers a higher resolution camera than the regular version, which is 108 MP and a 13 MP front camera. The Black Shark 5 Pro will be available in White, Tiangong White, Meteorite Black, and Moon Rock Gray colors, as quoted by Gizmochina.

It is not yet known when the Black Shark 5 and Black Shark 5 Pro will be launched by the company. But given the tradition, Black Shark usually presents a new smartphone in March.
