Garmin has just released a new smartwatch called vívomove Sport. This smartwatch carries a hybrid theme by presenting a clock that not only ticks, but can also move when touched to reveal a hidden screen.
vívomove Sport comes as Garmin’s entry-level smartwatch, featuring a suite of health and wellness technologies, including Body Battery monitoring, all-day stress tracker, sleep tracking, and a built-in workout app with GPS connection.
Garmin vívomove Sport features and specifications
Garmin vívomove Sport comes with a classic yet sporty design with a choice of soft colors, where the color of the silicone strap matches the watch’s dial. Garmin says refined metallic accents add dimension and provide a sleek, contemporary feel.
In addition, vívomove Sport is also designed with a hidden screen that only appears when needed. When the screen is touched, the hands of the clock will move dynamically to show the functionality of the smartwatch.
The health functions of the smartwatch include breathing monitoring, Pulse Ox1, stress, sleep quality (with sleep stages), hydration recording, and 24/7 heart rate. There are also women’s health features that include a menstrual cycle, pregnancy, and other fitness tracker.
vívomove Sport also features a Body Battery which can show the amount of energy in the body and can help schedule workouts and understand the intensity of the user’s activities. Connected with smartphone GPS, this smartwatch can accurately track distance and pace when the user walks, runs, or cycles.
Garmin vívomove Sport price
With up to 5 days of battery life in smartwatch mode and all day on the regular watch model, the vívomove Sport is priced at $179.99
