This flagship phone has several major selling points. One of them is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset on the Moto Edge X30 phone can deliver up to 20 percent better performance and up to 30 percent better power efficiency than the previous generation.

In addition, this chipset also brings new features, such as lossless audio, video recording up to 8K, always-on camera, and others.

From the design, the regular version of the Moto Edge X30 and the camera edition under the screen carries a screen with a 6.7-inch OLED panel.

The screen supports Full HD Plus resolution (2,400 × 1,080 pixels), a refresh rate of 144 Hz, and a touch sampling rate of up to 576 Hz. For the regular version, the top side of the Moto Edge X30 screen has a punch hole as the housing for the 60 MP (f/2.2) selfie camera.

For other models, Motorola buried a selfie camera with the same resolution of 60 MP (f/2.2) under the screen. Turning to the back, these two Motorola Moto Edge X30 phone models are equipped with three rear cameras embedded in an oval-shaped module. The three rear cameras consist of a 50 MP main camera (wide, f/1.9, PDAF, OIS), a 50 MP ultra wide camera (114 degrees, f/2.2), and a 2 MP depth sensor camera (f/2.4).

In China, the Moto Edge 30 comes with a variety of memory options, namely 8/12 GB RAM and 128/256 GB media storage. For the software aspect, the Moto Edge X30 already runs the Android 12 operating system which is covered by the MYUI 3.0 interface.
