Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 is specially designed for field workers from various industries, such as medical officers who handle emergency calls, police and security officers, retail logistics, mining workers, mechanics, and financial sector workers who have to visit customers to various places.

Galaxy XCover 5 combines toughness and comfort into a handy and durable product, perfect for tough and challenging work environments. This device has been certified MIL-STD-810H for toughness to face the most extreme working environments and is able to absorb impact even when dropped from a height of 1.5 meters.

Galaxy XCover 5 also meets IP68 rating standards for its resistance to dust, dirt, and sand, as well as water resistance when submerged in a depth of up to one meter for 30 minutes. Another important rugged feature is Touch Sensitivity. When this feature is activated, professionals can still use the device comfortably even when wearing gloves.

Samsung Knox protects confidential business information with real-time and pre-emptive responses to address increasingly sophisticated security threats.

The Galaxy XCover 5 is 71.6mm wide and 9.2mm thick, making it a perfect fit to hold and carry around. Wet Touch support keeps the touch screen responsive, for example in the drizzle.

In addition to rugged features and military-standard durability, the Galaxy Xcover 5 is reinforced with an Exynos 850 processor, 4GB of RAM, and up to 64GB of internal storage, capable of storing thousands of documents and capable of running various essential business applications.

This smartphone is also equipped with a 3000mAh removable battery, making it easy to replace with a spare battery when needed, such as when changing work shifts. There is also support for 15W fast charging via USB and charging via POGO pins.

Users simply press or hold the button to open applications or perform frequently used functions, thereby increasing work efficiency.

For example, ticketing workers can simply use XCover Key to open a barcode scanner application, or logistics workers need to check the route of a package via QR code. The XCover Key can also be used as a walkie-talkie when a push-to-talk solution is installed, for easy and secure work conversations. XCover Key is also capable of running Samsung Knox Capture for easy enterprise-class scanning directly on the smartphone.

In terms of business security, Galaxy XCover 5 has received Security Maintenance Release support regularly for 5 years. This operating system update is important to protect the business from any mobile device technology security threats.
