Sony Inzone H9, H7 and H3 share the same external design, but offer different capabilities to suit a buyer’s needs and budget. The H9 variant, the H7 is wireless, while the H3 is a wired headset.

These H9 and H7 variants support Bluetooth connection, best used with the included USB dongle which allows low latency connections over 2.4GHz. The headphones can be connected to the dongle and the user’s smartphone via Bluetooth, so that the user can easily answer incoming calls.

The microphone built into the headphones offers good audio quality for in-game voice chat. In addition, the mic is easy to control by turning it downwards to speak, and vice versa to mute the sound. There’s also a hardware button that changes the audio balance between game audio and voice chat.

All three headphones support 360 Spatial Sound. This can be enabled by the PC’s Inzone Hub software, which also includes an algorithm to convert two-channel stereo into 7.1-channel surround sound. There is also a 360 Spatial Sound Personalizer application for smartphones.

The Sony Inzone H9 supports Active Noise Cancellation and has a dedicated button to activate ambient sound mode (100Hz-8,000Hz). If ANC is off, the headphones can last up to 32 hours of playtime.

Inzone H7 does not have ANC. But, on the plus side, they have a longer battery life of 40 hours. Both the H9 and H7 have 40mm m drivers having an EDCCA Voice Coil with neodymium magnets and a frequency response of 5Hz-20,000Hz.

Inzone H3 doesn’t have to worry about battery. These headphones also have 40mm drivers with CCAW Voice coil with neodymium magnets, 35Ohm impedance with a frequency response of 10Hz-20,000Hz.

All three headsets are available for pre-order now on the official Sony, Amazon and Best Buy websites. The Inzone H9 costs US$ 300, the H7 costs US$ 230 and the H3 costs US$ 100.
