For iPhone and iPad owners who still support the latest operating system or OS, let’s immediately do the iOS and iPadOS 15.2.1 update which has been officially released by Apple. The reason is, this update is claimed to bring a number of fixes to security holes that were reported in previous versions of the OS.

Reporting from GSM Arena, Monday (17/1), although it is here to fix a number of existing security holes or bugs, the size of this update is fairly large. So, make sure the storage capacity is available because the size of this update is up to 970 MB.

Meanwhile, based on information provided by Apple, this update brings two major fixes, namely Messages not loading when sent via iCloud Link and CarPlay third-party apps not responding.

These two problems are indeed quite complained by users and Apple has received many reports regarding this. Even for the problems that exist in CarPlay, this problem was widely discussed in a number of forums.

As for the improvements to the messaging feature, although simple, these improvements definitely increase user convenience. For this reason, iPad and iPhone users can directly download the update.

Apart from that, iOS 15.2.1 also fixes a bug found in the HomeKit protocol. The bug is a loophole that can cause an iPhone or iPad to malfunction.

Through the loophole, a malicious individual could change the name of a HomeKit-compatible device to more than 500,000 characters. This can cause the device to malfunction.

For privacy features that were previously enhanced were already present in the iOS and iPadOS 15.2 update. Previously, Apple’s new operating system update, iOS 15.2, which brought various updates in the privacy sector began to be rolled out to the iPhone and has been rolled out by Apple some time ago.
