Flydigi is preparing to launch a new game controller with native support for Xbox consoles, expanding its lineup beyond PC and multi-platform accessories. The controller, called the Vader 5s, is scheduled to be unveiled this week, according to the manufacturer.
The Vader 5s is described by Flydigi as an officially licensed Xbox controller and appears to be closely based on the Vader 5 Pro, a model the company released last year. Early teaser images suggest a similar overall design, though the new version is expected to add console-specific compatibility, which could place it at a higher price point than the existing Pro model.
In terms of features, Flydigi says the Vader 5s will include ForceFlex joysticks that allow players to adjust stick tension. The controller will also offer six customizable buttons, including additional C and Z action buttons, shoulder inputs and rear-mounted buttons. Other features highlighted ahead of launch include adjustable triggers, a dedicated microphone mute button and multiple vibration motors integrated into both the triggers and grips.
Announcing the upcoming release, Flydigi said the Vader 5s is designed to offer “native support for Xbox consoles,” positioning it as a premium alternative for players seeking more customization than standard first-party controllers.
