French audio manufacturer Triangle has introduced the Garden 7, a passive outdoor speaker designed to deliver 360-degree sound while blending into garden environments. The speaker also features an integrated LED light, combining functionality with outdoor aesthetics.
Encased in a discreet housing offered in green or grey, the Garden 7 is engineered to withstand outdoor conditions with an IP66 rating, ensuring protection against dust and heavy rain. It is equipped with a coaxial driver consisting of a 160 mm bass-midrange driver and a 25 mm tweeter. This configuration directs sound onto a cone to provide even diffusion in all directions.
“The goal was to create a product that delivers immersive sound without compromising outdoor design,” Triangle said in a product statement. “Thanks to the coaxial driver and lighting integration, the Garden 7 serves dual purposes—acoustic and visual.”
The speaker offers a frequency response from 63 Hz to 22 kHz, an impedance of 8 ohms, and sensitivity of 86 dB. It is designed to be partially embedded in the ground, 5 cm deep, and secured using screws to a base slab.
As a passive system, the Garden 7 requires an external amplifier to operate and must be connected with two cables: one for audio and another for powering the integrated 105-lumen LED, which can be connected to a standard switch.
The Garden 7 is now available in Europe for €399 through Triangle’s official website and selected retailers. The company has not yet announced pricing or availability for other markets.
