GMKtec has officially launched its K12 mini-PC globally, following a domestic rollout in China earlier this week. The device, powered by AMD’s Ryzen 7 H 255 processor, enters the international market with a starting price of $409.99 for the barebones configuration.

Designed for performance in a compact form factor, the K12 integrates AMD’s China-exclusive Ryzen 7 H 255 APU. Built on the Zen 4 architecture, the processor features eight cores and an integrated Radeon 780M GPU, with a configurable TDP of up to 70 watts.

“GMKtec has paired this powerful APU with a wide range of modern connectivity options,” the company stated on its product page. The port selection includes dual 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet (Realtek 8125BG), USB4, OCuLink (PCIe Gen4x4), HDMI 2.1, and multiple USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, allowing for compatibility with external GPU docks and high-speed data transfers.

The K12 is being offered in multiple configurations, including prebuilt options with 32 GB or 64 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. Prices for these versions are set at $549.99 and $609.99 respectively. Notably, the base model does not include memory, storage, or a Windows license, targeting enthusiasts and DIY users.

This release follows the recent launch of GMKtec’s EVO-T1, which features Intel’s Core Ultra 9 285H processor and retails for $1,299.99 on Amazon. The more affordable K12 is expected to appeal to users seeking high performance with greater customization flexibility.

GMKtec’s entry into the international market with the K12 reflects a growing trend among Chinese electronics brands aiming to compete globally in the compact PC segment.
