Google unveiled the Pixel Watch 4, the successor to last year’s Pixel Watch 3, adding satellite communication, extended battery life and a repair-friendly housing to its wearable lineup. The device, available in two sizes, is now open for pre-orders with deliveries starting October 9.
While the design appears familiar at first glance, Google said the watch’s housing has been fundamentally redesigned to bring practical improvements. “Not only is the glass curved, but also the OLED panel itself, allowing Google to create a 10% larger display with 16% smaller bezels,” according to the company’s announcement. The screen reaches up to 3,000 nits in brightness, 50% higher than before, and features a variable refresh rate ranging from 1 Hz to 60 Hz, protected by Gorilla Glass 5.

The Pixel Watch 4 runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 platform, combined with a new co-processor that is claimed to deliver 25% more power while using half the energy. Google said this extends battery life to 30 hours for the 41mm model and 40 hours for the 45mm version. Fast charging can bring the watch from 0% to 50% in 15 minutes.
Additional updates include a stronger vibration motor, improved speaker quality, and a revised charging system that allows the device to be powered upright with the display visible. The watch also introduces official repairability for the display and battery while maintaining water resistance up to 5 ATM. Health features include an ECG, skin temperature sensor, and cEDA sensor for stress tracking.

Pricing for the Pixel Watch 4 starts at $349 for the 41mm model and $399 for the 45mm version, with LTE variants costing an additional $100. Color options include silver and black for both models, gold for the smaller size and blue for the larger.
