The technology giant from the United States, Google, has reportedly brought a number of updates to the ChromeOS operating system. Through this update, it is possible for users to change the appearance of the theme as desired.
Google has brought updates to the ChromeOS operating system for all users. The company says that the support feature for switching to dark theme mode is the official debut of the ChromeOS 104 operating system.
The feature to change the display theme seems to come following the many trends in using dark mode as the basic theme on various devices. It also follows a number of dark modes that have appeared in many other Google products such as the Google Chrome app.
Well, for users who want to change the display theme on their device, consider the following steps.
- Go to Settings
- Then select ‘Personalize’
- Then click on ‘Set Your Wallpaper & Style’
- Select Light, Dark or Auto mode as desired.
In this ChromeOS 104 update, Google also brings an ‘automatic’ setting option to change the display color scheme on the device. This allows the device to change color automatically depending on the time of day and the options selected by the user.
Apart from going through the ‘Settings’ menu on the device, users can also access the ‘Set Your Wallpaper & Style’ settings via the home screen. The trick, the user just presses the touchpad with two fingers for a few moments until a choice of options from the system appears.
