This tutorial can be a guide to check the status of components in your Apple phone. Since its release in December 2021, iOS 15.2 offers a variety of the latest features. The feature to check the repair history of components in the iPhone with a more detailed description is one of them.

This feature is very useful for tracking individual components of the iPhone that may not be working properly. Not only that, checking the repair history will also provide information to the user about the authenticity of the iPhone components.

Therefore, you can use the easy way to check the iPhone repair history on iOS 15.2 below to get information about the status of components in your cellphone.

Easy Ways to Check iPhone Repair History on iOS 15.2

1. Open the Settings menu on your iPhone.
2. Select the General option.
3. Select the About option.
4. In the About option, the entire iPhone repair history will be displayed.

You will see the Genuine Apple Part or Unknown Part status in the Battery and Camera options at the very bottom. In this case, the Genuine Part status indicates that your iPhone component is officially an Apple product.

On the other hand, if the status shows Unknown Part, then your iPhone components may have been replaced with components that are not official from Apple. In addition, the Unknown Part status can also mean that the component has been used on another iPhone or is not working properly.

Therefore, Apple highly recommends users to purchase or repair components at Apple authorized stores. For information, the detailed repair history of components of each iPhone will differ depending on the series and type.

For iPhone XR, XS, XS Max, and above, including the second generation iPhone SE, you can only see the status of the battery component repair history. On iPhone 11, you can only see the Battery and Display repair history.

As for the iPhone 12 and 13, you will only be shown the status of the repair history of the Battery, Display, and Camera components. So, you can use an easy way to check iPhone repair history in iOS 15.2 in order to ensure the authenticity and repair status of your iPhone components right now.
