If you are iPhone user, you can scan documents on iPhone without third-party apps. You only need to do a few simple steps so you can scan documents on your iPhone without a special scanner.

Scanning documents is currently an unavoidable activity, especially for students and workers. Scanning documents is becoming very popular because it will display clearer results so that documents can be read or seen clearly on the screen.

At first, scans can only be done on special scanners or additional third-party applications on smartphones. However, at this time, scans can be done without using additional applications such as those offered by features in the iPhone.

Reporting from Apple’s official website, here is how to scan documents on iPhone without additional applications.

How to Scan Documents on iPhone Without Additional Applications

1. Open the Notes application on your iPhone.

2. Select Create a new one.

3. Press the camera button and press the Scan Documents button.

4. Place the document in a place where its visuals can be captured by the camera.

5. Press the photo button or one of the volume buttons (this method is only done if your iPhone is not in Auto Mode).

6. Adjust each corner on each page until no part is cut off and then scan.

7. Save the document.

However, this method can only be used on iPhones that support iOS 13 and 14. This is because the Notes application is the default application only on iOS. The solution is to use 14 using additional or third-party applications if your iPhone is a series below iOS 13 and 14.

Of course, this application can also be a solution for iPhone owners who are not used to using the Notes application as a document scanning tool. Some scanner applications that can be installed on your iPhone are Adobe Scan, Microsoft Office Lens, SwiftScan, or CamScanner.

The scanner application can be used for free. However, if you want more complete features and without a watermark, you can pay a subscription fee.
