Itel, a brand known for launching entry-level smartphones in emerging markets, has unveiled its latest offering: the Itel A24 Pro. This compact phone boasts a small display encased in chunky bezels and is equipped with a single camera on both the front and rear. The device supports 4G connectivity.
The Itel A24 Pro features a 5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 850 x 480 pixels. The device does not have a fingerprint scanner, but it does offer a face unlock feature for biometric authentication. Preinstalled with Android 12 (Go edition), the device comes with a 2-megapixel camera with an LED flash on the back and a 0.3-megapixel camera on the front. The polycarbonate rear shell of the phone has a stylish design.
Under the hood, the device is powered by a 1.4GHz Unisoc SC9832E quad-core chipset and a 3,020mAh battery, which can be charged via a microUSB port. The device ships with 32 GB of internal storage and an external storage slot that supports up to 32 GB of microSD card.
The device measures 145.4 x 73.9 x 9.85mm. The Itel A24 Pro is available for purchase in Bangladesh for BDT 5,990 (~$57) and comes in green color only. It is currently unclear if the device will be available in other markets.
