In addition to the Legion 5 and 5i 2022, at CES 2022 Lenovo also announced the Legion 5 and Legion 5i Pro 2022. This 16-inch gaming laptop from Lenovo is increasingly promising with a faster runway and enhanced features.

Lenovo Legion 5 and 5i Pro 2022 Specifications

The first feature to be improved is in the screen sector. The Lenovo Legion 5 and 5i Pro 2022 retain the 16-inch screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio. Specially, these two laptops are the first 16-inch gaming laptops in the world with a WQHD+ 2560 x 1600 pixel screen panel and a refresh rate of 240 Hz. An increase from the previous generation which was only 165 Hz.

The screen also supports HDR400, Dolby Vision, and 100% sRGB color coverage. For Legion 5 Pro that uses AMD processor supports AMD FreeSync Premium. Meanwhile, the Legion 5i Pro is supported by Nvidia G-Sync. The screen panel is also very safe for the eyes and has won TUV Rheinland Gold certification.

In the kitchen sector, the specifications for the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro 2022 rely on the AMD Ryzen Mobile 6000 processor. The available options are up to AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX. The Legion 5i Pro 2022 uses a 12th Generation Intel Core processor with options up to Intel Core i9-12900H. Meanwhile, in the graphics sector, both will be available with graphics card options up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti.

The Lenovo Legion 5 and Legion 5i Pro 2022 come with a thinner fan design and a wider heat dissipation area. That way, this laptop is claimed to be cooler and quieter than the previous generation. Thanks to the design of this new cooling system, the overall body design of the two is claimed to be thinner.

Lenovo Legion 5 and Legion 5i Pro 2022 prices

Lenovo Legion 5 Pro 2022 is expected to be available in the market from April 2022. Legion 5 Pro 2022 price starts at US$1430. Meanwhile, the price of the Lenovo Legion 5i Pro starts at US $ 1570. Availability in the market around February 2022.
