Last week, Lenovo released a teaser tablet with Legion branding that revealed some of the look, design, and features of Dolby Vision Audio. Now, the company has officially launched the device.
This device was finally unveiled by Lenovo and called the Lenovo Legion Y700 Gaming Tablet. With the Legion branding, it’s clear that this tablet is aimed at gamers, especially mobile gamers who want something bigger than a phone but not as big as a conventional tablet.
That’s what Lenovo’s latest tablet wants to fulfill with an 8.8-inch screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. This device is also reinforced with a refresh rate of 120 Hz with a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz and supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.

The poster on display reveals that the Legion Y700’s bezel width is not the same. Apart from that, it also features a rear camera with a flash. Previous teasers have revealed that the tablet has a boxy design with sharp angular edges and a metal finish. It can add a luxurious design look.
Reporting from Gizmochina (13/12), one of the edges features JBL, Dolby Atmos, and Dolby Vision tags, which suggests that the tablet will likely also offer some high-quality speakers for a great gaming experience.
Lenovo has not provided further details about their tablet. However, as a game-focused device, we can expect a superior chipset. This is likely to rely on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
