Mangmi has released the full specification sheet for its upcoming Pocket Max handheld, signalling that a formal launch of the Android-powered gaming device may be imminent. The disclosure follows weeks of incremental teasers and confirms that the device will be offered in only one hardware configuration.
According to the specifications shared by the company, the Pocket Max will feature a 7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels and a 144 Hz refresh rate. The handheld will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 processor and will ship with 8 GB of LPDDR4X memory and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 storage, with no alternative variants planned.
Battery capacity is listed at 8,000 mAh, with charging supported at up to 27 watts via USB-C, which also enables video output. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a microSD card slot, while an active cooling fan is included to manage heat. The device will ship running Android 13.
Mangmi has positioned the Pocket Max as a feature-rich handheld, highlighting its asymmetric TMR thumbsticks with RGB lighting, Hall Effect triggers and modular magnetic D-pad and ABXY buttons. “There will only be one SKU available,” the spec sheet states, underlining the company’s streamlined approach to the product lineup.
