The next mid-range smartphone from Nothing appears to be moving closer to launch after the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro was listed in a European Union product database, revealing early details about the device. The listing follows the company’s recent indication that its upcoming smartphone would be released in the first quarter of 2026 at a higher price point.

The device, identified by the model number A069P, was registered in the European Commission’s EPREL database, which publishes energy and durability information for consumer electronics. The certification shows the battery capacity rising slightly to 5,080 mAh from 5,000 mAh in the previous model, with charging continuing via USB-C at up to 50 watts.

Based on EU energy label testing, the handset is rated for more than 63 hours of battery life and is expected to retain at least 80% of its original capacity after 1,400 charging cycles. The listing also indicates an IP65 rating, offering improved protection against dust and water splashes compared with its predecessor, though it stops short of full waterproofing.

The certification further notes that the display resists scratches up to a hardness level of 6 on the Mohs scale and assigns the phone a “C” grade for repairability. Nothing also commits to providing security updates for at least five years, though the number of major Android upgrades was not specified.

Nothing has not confirmed full specifications, but the company has said its next smartphone will arrive before the end of March. “A new smartphone will be launched at a higher price in the first quarter of 2026,” the company said previously. The current Nothing Phone (3a) Pro is priced at 449 euros with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, providing a reference point for the expected pricing of the new model.
