OnePlus appears to be preparing a new tablet release as part of its growing device portfolio, following recent launches of the Ace 6, Ace 6T and OnePlus 15. The tablet, expected to debut globally as the OnePlus Pad Go 2, is described as a mid-range offering that shares its foundation with an upcoming Oppo Pad Air series model.
According to information shared by the leaker Bald Panda, the yet-to-be-announced tablet is believed to be another rebadged Oppo product, continuing a trend seen in previous OnePlus tablets. Bald Panda said the device is “a rebadge of an upcoming Oppo Pad Air series model,” indicating close hardware overlap between the two brands.

The tablet is reported to include a 12.1-inch 2.9K LCD panel and MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 chipset. The same chipset powers smartphones such as the Poco X7, CMF Phone 2 Pro and Motorola Edge 60. Benchmark listings suggest a significant performance gain over the original Pad Go model, which used a Helio G99 processor. In last week’s Geekbench appearance, the new device posted results showing “CPU performance over 50% better than the first-gen OnePlus Pad Go,” according to the leak.
Two launch color options have been mentioned—Black and Purple—positioning the model within the competitive mid-tier tablet segment. The device is also speculated to be part of a coordinated launch event on December 17, coinciding with the expected global introduction of the OnePlus 15R, a rebadged version of the Ace 6T.

While OnePlus has not confirmed the tablet or its specifications, analysts say the model reflects a continuation of the company’s strategy to expand its presence in the Android tablet market through incremental hardware upgrades shared with Oppo. Industry observers expect further details to emerge as the reported launch date approaches.
