Philips Hue has rolled out a new update for its app, version 5.18.0, aimed at enhancing user experience and fixing issues reported by customers. Available for both iOS and Android devices, the latest release follows closely behind the previous update, version 5.17.0, which introduced a new compact view feature.
The latest update, version 5.18.0, focuses primarily on bug fixes and improved stability. While the company has not provided specific details about the changes, users can expect a smoother and more reliable app experience. Notably, an issue with the new compact view feature, introduced in version 5.17.0, has been resolved. This feature allows users to select a smaller card size to view more Rooms and Zones simultaneously.
Initially, some users had trouble finding the compact view feature, which was said to be located under the Home tab. However, following the latest update, users have reported that the issue has been addressed, and they can now easily access the feature.
In addition to the app update, Philips Hue recently launched the Philips Hue Perifo T-connector, an accessory for the brand’s smart track lighting solution. The product is now available for purchase in the US and EU countries like the Netherlands, with plans for a UK launch in the near future.
Users can download the latest version of the Philips Hue app, 5.18.0, from the Apple App Store for iOS devices and the Google Play Store for Android devices.
