Qualcomm, Adobe collaborate to support creative experiences on Snapdragon powered devices

Together, the companies are pushing the boundaries of creativity and productivity in documents for Snapdragon users.

Building on experience in Photoshop and Lightroom and optimized for Windows on Snapdragon, Adobe continues to be committed to bringing the best Creative Cloud natively to Snapdragon platforms, starting with Fresco and Acrobat.

Bringing the power of Adobe Sensei, Adobe’s artificial intelligence (AI) engine, alongside the Qualcomm AI Engine in a dedicated device on the Snapdragon computing platform, users can experience increased device performance for creative workflows and tasks including providing the best resolution, background removing capabilities, enhanced capabilities on color, edit content on the go, and more.

Through a shared commitment to empowering creators, the two companies are collaborating on an XR-based compose and consumption workflow powered by the Snapdragon Spaces XR Developer Platform for VR/MR headsets and AR glasses.

Extending Aero from smartphones and PCs to XR products via Snapdragon Spaces can help creators write immersive stories using glasses and headwear, and allow users to better see and interact with the Aero experience. This technology masterpiece includes high-performance 3D workflows with Universal Scene Description (USD) on many Android devices for XR experiences powered by Snapdragon Spaces.

The breakthrough writing and viewing experience using AR apps with Aero builds on the company’s long-standing goal of delivering a premium mobile experience to Android smartphones powered by the Snapdragon platform. Now, Adobe plans to expand the availability of Aero apps to Snapdragon premium smartphones globally.
