NoPixel, one of the most prominent roleplay servers for Grand Theft Auto V, has announced a new version of its project in partnership with Rockstar Games. The upcoming release, titled NoPixel V, will be available on the Rockstar Games Launcher, marking the first official backing of the roleplay community by the publisher.
An announcement trailer has already been released, confirming that the server will expand beyond its previous availability on FiveM, a third-party mod framework that enabled custom multiplayer servers.

According to the developers, NoPixel V aims to build on the roleplay experience by offering a wider platform for players. “NoPixel V will expand the long-running roleplay experience beyond its previous availability on FiveM,” the team said.
The server is structured around strict rules and a whitelist system designed to maintain in-character interactions. Players can assume roles such as police officers, criminals, mechanics, or local shop owners, with storylines evolving dynamically based on player choices.
The project has also built a strong following on Twitch, boosted by high-profile streamers including xQc and Summit1g. Their broadcasts have helped cement NoPixel’s position as one of the most recognizable roleplay communities in GTA V.
It is not yet clear whether the current version of NoPixel, also known as NoPixel 4, will continue alongside the newly announced server. The developers said the new project will be released “soon” on the Rockstar Games Launcher and other PC platforms, with additional details expected on NoPixel’s official website.
