Rockstar still seems to want to surprise fans of the Grand Theft Auto franchise through GTA V. Instead of immediately completing the development of GTA VI, they are back rolling out an update for GTA V online.

Rockstar introduced an expansion called The Contract. This expansion is available to all players on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. PlayStation 5 and Xbox X|S users can also play it using backward compatibility.

Rockstar Games founder Sam Houser says expansion updates are regular. They have prepared many things for gamers in The Contract.

“The Contract is like nothing we've done before, bridging stories, music and the online world in new ways. Thanks to our collaborator and longtime friend DJ Pooh, we were able to work with some of hip-hop's greatest legends on this very modern Los Santos adventure as players track the music of Dr. The missing Dre,” said Sam, as quoted from the Wccftech page (16/12).

This expansion can be played alone or with friends. In this update users will be presented with a new adventure within the city of Los Santos as players join Franklin Clinton to build the agency “Celebrity Solutions” serving the elite of Vinewood.

Their first major breakthrough came through a high profile client, namely Dr. Dre, who lost his smartphone in a shuffle during the events of the Cayo Perico Robbery. The device contains the artist's latest music. And the gamer's job is to get the device back.

The expansion also features a new radio station featuring music from various artists known as MOTOMAMI Los Santos. The raido station will host several exclusive new songs and tracks featured on Big Boy's Radio Los Santos Rap and Hip Hop Stations and DJ Pooh's West Coast Classics, plus world premieres from CircoLoco Records featuring Nez and Schoolboy Q.
