Samsung has launched the Galaxy A23 5G phone. This device comes as a successor to the Galaxy A22 5G which was launched last year. The South Korean company announced a 4G version of the Galaxy A23 earlier this year. The official Galaxy A23 listing page does not reveal the full specifications of the phone. However, this phone comes with some improvements compared to the 4G version as well as the Galaxy A22 5G.
The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G comes with a 6.6-inch screen with Full HD resolution and an Infinity-V notch. However, the screen refresh rate is still unknown. The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, integrated with the power button. There is a rectangular camera module on the back panel.
Galaxy A23 5G is equipped with four rear cameras. These four cameras consist of a 50 MP f/1.8 main camera with OIS support, a 5 MP ultra-wide angle camera unit, a 2 MP depth sensor, and a 2 MP macro lens. While the front camera has a resolution of 8 MP.
On the inside, the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G is powered by an as yet unknown octa-core processor. But based on Geekbench, this phone is likely to use a Snapdragon 695 processor. The device is offered in three RAM configurations (4GB, 6GB, and 8GB) paired with 64GB or 128GB storage options.
The phone is supported by a 5,000 mAh battery capacity. In terms of software, the Galaxy A23 5G runs on OneUI 4.1 based on the Android 12 operating system. Connectivity options on this phone include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, USB-C port, 3.5mm jack, 5G, and 4G VoLTE. The colors available on the Galaxy A23 5G are black, white, blue, and orange; at an undisclosed price.
