Samsung Electronics said on Wednesday it will reveal a new addition to its Galaxy S25 lineup at its next Galaxy Unpacked event on September 4, alongside premium tablets that incorporate artificial intelligence features.
The announcement comes weeks after the company’s July event, where it introduced the Galaxy Z Fold7 and other foldable devices. The September gathering marks Samsung’s second major product launch of the summer.
In a press release, Samsung confirmed the “newest member of the Galaxy S25 family” would take center stage, following the earlier launches of the Galaxy S25, S25 Edge, S25 Plus and S25 Ultra. The company did not specify how the upcoming device will differ from existing models.
Industry leaks suggest the handset could be the Galaxy S25 FE, powered by the Exynos 2400 chipset and featuring a 6.7-inch display, slightly larger than the S25 Plus. Market speculation points to the device being positioned as the most affordable option in the S25 series.
Samsung also said “premium AI tablets” will be introduced at the event. Analysts expect these to include the Galaxy Tab S11 and S11 Ultra, following leaked specification sheets that circulated earlier this week.
“The newest member of the Galaxy S25 family will be unveiled at Galaxy Unpacked, alongside our next-generation tablets designed to push the boundaries of AI,” Samsung said in its press release.
