Currently the technology company is busy developing Metaverse services, a world of virtual reality in the future.

Metaverse is a concept that allows everyone to interact, work, play games, and do other things in a virtual environment. In Metaverse, you will be represented in the form of a unique 3D avatar.

Facebook also changed its name to a meta that described the company's vision in the future that will go into the world of metaverse.

Not only Meta, Microsoft and Google are competing to disburse investment funds to work on Metaverse projects.

Unfortunately not all companies are interested in working on Metaverse like Snap. The Augmented Reality (AR) SNAP camera company that designed Snapchat's social media platforms did not want to rush to develop Metaverse projects.

Snap CEO Evan Spiegel considers the concept of Metaverse to be ambiguous and the market is unclear.

“The current metaverse concept is still unclear, and is still just dreams,” Spiegel was quoted as saying by The Verge.

Spiegel said that now Snap focuses on features or devices that can maximize AR experience like a drone device called the latest Pixy. Pixy drones themselves for sale 229 US dollars can support the self -photographs of SNAP users.

“Note! Now people spend more time in the real world than Metaverse,” Spiegel said.

“That is why we design Pixy that can change the way people use our products (Snapchat), rather than talking about a concept that is not yet real,” Spiegel added.

Not only Pixy, Snap also makes other AR products in the form of glasses called Spectacles. These glasses come in several versions and the latest versions are said to be tested by developers.

Spectacles allows users to interact with various Snapchat filters, or commonly called lenses for playing games, beautifying face photos and uploading them to social media, or just funny and the event to show off content.
