Google’s latest flagships, the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are the most successful phones produced by the search engine giant. However, that product is also known as the Pixel with the most bugs to date.
There was news recently reported by Edith Reads of TradingPlatform stating that Google may be losing its loyal user base due to glitches in the Pixel 6 series. .
Pixel 6 series users have taken to Google, Twitter, and Reddit support pages to complain about dark spots on their phone screens. One Pixel 6 Pro user wrote to Google support saying “the screen has shown a black dot that the pond is growing. The phone has not been dropped and has been updated.” The user also added that Google support (chat/phone) was not helpful.
Reporting from Gizmochina (12/7), some users of the Pixel 6 series have seen a black dot around the front camera, while others have seen a black dot in the top right corner of the phone. The user believes that the dot is a dead pixel on the screen.
It is not clear whether this problem is caused by hardware or software. There is a belief that this is a hardware issue, which means the customer should contact Google to replace/repair their device.
At this time, it is unclear how widespread the problem is, and Google has not released a public statement on the matter. However, with the launch of the Pixel 7 series drawing near, this latest incident is sure to cast doubt in the minds of customers looking forward to the device.
