Sony has revealed the PlayStation Plus lineup for January 2026, with Need for Speed Unbound set to headline the monthly selection for subscribers. The new titles will be available to PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra and Deluxe members starting Jan. 6, marking the first update of the year.
The inclusion of Need for Speed Unbound confirms earlier leaks about the January lineup. Released in 2022, the title is the latest mainline entry in the long-running racing franchise and had previously appeared in the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for higher-tier members. “Need for Speed Unbound is officially part of the PlayStation Plus January 2026 free games,” the announcement said.

Also joining the lineup is Core Keeper, a mining-focused sandbox adventure that can be played solo or online with up to eight players. The game is set in a vast underground world filled with creatures, resources and hidden mysteries that players uncover as they explore and craft equipment.
The third game in the January selection is Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, a full remake of the original Epic Mickey. The updated version features colorful 3D visuals, platforming challenges, puzzle-solving elements and appearances from classic Disney characters, including Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.
