The Sony ZV-1F is designed to make your subject stand out in any situation with a 20mm (f/2.0) ultra-wide prime lens for optimal selfie shooting. A wide field of view is also useful for showing more of the background.
The image sensor used by the Sony ZV-1F is a 1-inch Exmor RS CMOS. The resolution of this camera is 20.1 MP. Users can take pictures or record videos using ISO 125 to ISO 12800. However, it is not yet known how the quality of noise reduction is when using high ISO in low light conditions.
Skin tones have been optimized for videos and photos with the option ‘Soft Skin Effect' which smoothes and reduces wrinkles when shooting videos and creates a natural skin tone effect for photos. Face Priority AE automatically adjusts brightness during shooting to optimally brighten faces, even in situations where the light changes.
The ZV-1F also offers high-precision focusing as well as Eye AF for humans and animals which allows autofocus (AF) to truly fix on the face and eyes without being distracted by other subjects. Users can easily change the subject via the camera's touch screen.
Talking about the screen, this panel uses 3-inch LCD technology. The resolution of this screen is 921,000 dots. Also do not miss the vari-angle hinge that allows users to record at difficult angles.
This new vlog camera has a Bokeh Switch button to allow users to quickly switch between bokeh backgrounds when they want to highlight faces and without bokeh, even when shooting videos. The camera also features a Product Showcase setting, so users can switch focus smoothly between faces and products, perfect for review.
Sony equips the ZV-1F with S&Q mode for slow motion shooting at 5 x slower speeds and quick motion at 60x faster hyperlapse speeds to get the desired effect.
