TCL, one of the world’s largest consumer electronics manufacturers, has announced its entry into the U.S. gaming monitor market while renewing its role as official partner of Call of Duty. The launch coincides with the beta release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, running Oct. 2-8 across platforms.
The Chinese electronics company unveiled its new QD-Mini LED gaming monitors during Call of Duty: NEXT, a showcase event in Las Vegas previewing multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone content from the upcoming title. Fans and content creators tested the monitors ahead of the public beta.
Scott Ramirez, Vice President of Product Marketing and Development at TCL Home Theater, said the company aimed to leverage its television expertise in gaming monitors. “By offering high speed, high brightness, amazing contrast, and most importantly fine shadow detail, these new gaming monitors provide a true TCL Gamer’s Advantage,” he said.
Product lineup
The new lineup includes three series:
-
G64 Series: QHD resolution, HDR600 brightness, 180Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, and AMD FreeSync. Prices start at $649 for the 32-inch model, available immediately.
-
R84 Series: Offers higher-end specifications, including HDR1400 brightness, USB-C power delivery, built-in speakers, and options for 32-inch 4K UHD at 165Hz or a 34-inch curved WQHD at 180Hz.
-
R94 Series: Positioned as the flagship, with LD2300 dimming, built-in KVM switching, and additional gaming-focused features.
The monitors are set to compete with established gaming display makers, offering QD-Mini LED as a lower-cost alternative to OLED panels.
TCL’s move underscores its effort to capture a share of the growing gaming hardware sector, extending beyond televisions and sound bars, where it already maintains a strong presence.
