Tesla may be developing a new addition to its Cyber vehicle lineup, with a prototype resembling a large three-row SUV appearing in a promotional video released alongside its latest Master Plan.
The video, published to highlight the company’s Master Plan 4, briefly shows a blocky design that extends the Cybertruck’s cabin into the space typically occupied by its truck bed, suggesting capacity for a third row of seats. The model aligns with long-standing demand among Tesla fans for a full-size SUV option beyond the Model Y.

The clip also shows mockups of other Tesla concepts, including a clay Cybercab prototype and several scale models lined up in the automaker’s design studio. “Super excited about a number of future designs that Tesla is working on in its studio,” the company’s chief designer said, adding they will be revealed “soon.”
The Cybertruck platform, at 18.6 feet (5,683 mm) in length, is comparable to the average three-row SUV, making it a plausible basis for such a design. Industry observers see the SUV prototype as a potential way for Tesla to diversify its lineup while leveraging existing vehicle architecture.
Master Plan 4 itself offered little detail beyond broad commitments to “sustainable abundance” and future reliance on the company’s still-in-development Optimus humanoid robot, which CEO Elon Musk has said could eventually generate 80% of Tesla’s revenue.
